Happy New Year!

The New Year is creeping up and I am very excited to start 2022 on the right footing. My sole focus is to minimize, simplify and create efficient workflows that remove unnecessary “fluff” in my Notion workspace. And yes, I will be using Notion as my primary program for task management. What a shock!
Earlier in the week, I shared this video that details my 2022 dashboard. It’s tricky to share a workflow for the New Year when it is inevitable that it will change and grow as the year progresses. I’m starting small and working up with four key databases.
Goal setting for broad goal tracking. Included are sub-goals.
Daily calendar for task management. I’ll be using the basic table for timetables inside each day’s page.
Content calendar and promotional post tracker to keep my web presence in order (Blog, YouTube, Twitter).
Bookshelf to continue tracking the books I read from last year.
My 2021 Year Review
In 2021 I created a page to record progress from my blog, YouTube, and Twitter. I will be continuing to do so in 2022. Every month I collect data into three separate databases for the mentioned areas:
Blog: monthly pageviews, visits, keyword searches, ad revenue, etc.
Twitter: monthly mentions, follows, tweets, impressions, etc.
YouTube: monthly video views, impressions, subscribers, ad revenue, etc.
Every month has its own page, and what I managed to do was connect every month to a Stats Table. That table calculates the progress made last month from the month before. For example, My new followers in November were down 287 from October. I will be making a video about how I made this setup soon.
I Released A Notion Formula Course!
One absolute must on my 2021 goal list was to release a course. I managed to make it happen in December (classic me, doing things last minute), but I can say confidently that I made it work.
This pre-recorded course is all about how to get started with Notion formulas, understanding the logic behind them, and an introduction to some advanced uses as well. I will be creating more formula tutorials and courses illustrating other ways to use Notion in 2022.
