Connect Weather Alerts To Notion
With the new Notion API release, like most, I became curious about Zapier and its ability to automate my databases without programming knowledge. If you're like me and want to quickly connect data from an external source into Notion without the hassle, Zapier is a great place to start.
Here are just a few integrations you can make:
Twitter to Notion
Notion to Twitter
Notion to Email
Notion to Notion
Notion to Google Adsense
Gumroad to Notion
Squarespace to Notion
Notion to Wordpress
and more!
Daily Weather Alert To Notion
Step 1: Create an integration inside Notion
Create a new internal integration bot here → Notion - New Integration.
or … navigate to Settings & Members > Integrations > Develop your own integrations
Copy the secret token and set it aside for now.
Step 2: Create a database / choose one that already exists
Navigate to the database page > go to Share > Invite your bot to the database.
More about step 1 and step 2 here
Step 3: Make a Zapier account and create a Zap
Create a Trigger. This is the first window Zapier prompts you to search for an app. Search for 'Weather.' This trigger will deliver an alert every morning. Complete the form.
Next, Zapier will ask you to create an Action. Search for 'Notion'. Insert the token on Zapier’s side, and follow the steps from the form Zapier prompts (ie. select workspace and database to send alert).
